I have fought a good fight I have finished my course I have kept the Faith. II Timothy 4:7 Mother Corine Nesbitt Hillery was born to Tony Charles (T.C) and Mary Nesbitt on June 13. 1937 in Earl, Arkansas. She departed this earthly life on January 20, 2020. Mother Hillery is preceded in death by both of her parents T.C. and Mary Nebsitt her stepmother Edna Nesbitt. Three sisters: Evalina Nesbitt - Brown, Wilma Jackson and Rosetta Williams. Four brothers: Sam Nesbitt, Frank Nesbitt. Tom Nesbitt, and Johnny Grice. Mother Hillery accepted Jesus Christ at an early age as her personal Lord and Savior. Mother Hillery taught as a Sunday School teacher for many years at St. Mary No. 1 M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. Chester Gentry. She accepted her calling as a teacher at Mercy Seat M. B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Amos Lewis. She also was a bible class scholar under the leadership of Rev. Tommy Stevenson of Bethlehem M.B. Church. Mother Hillery was a tremendous cook at several restaurants Manchester Cafe, West Over Landing Janet's, Bell on the Levee, and Casqui until she retired. Mother Hillery memories will always be cherished by her four sons: Robert (Betty) Riley , Bobby (Loretta) Armstrong both of Helena-West Helena, AR; Lester Armstrong and Melvin Armstrong of Bloomington, ILL; four daughters: Thelma Smith and Tracy Randle of Helena-West Helena, AR; Gail (Quency) Holmes of Orangeburg, South Carolina; and Patricia Randle or Summerville, South Carolina. A faithful sister-in-law Carylon Armstrong. Three brothers: Minister T.C. (Sandra) Nesbitt of Atlanta, GA; Joe Nesbitt and John Henry Grice of Earl, AR; Three sisters: Hazel Nesbitt of Heth, AR; Cloratte Jackson and Essie Jackson of St. Louis, MO; Mother Hillery will truly be missed by twenty three grands, thirty eight great grands, and six great-great grands, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
