Shala Latrice Bell was born March 18, 1990 in Helena, Arkansas. Shala accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Helena, Arkansas. She was a graduate of the Central High School Class of 2009 and went on to obtain her CNA license. Shala met and married the love of her life Quinten Sanders, Sr., together they had four adorable children. Shala was a kind and loving spirit with a beautiful smile that could light up the world. She used those wonderful qualities to successfully tend to the needs of others for a living. Shala will forever be missed by her family and friends. She was a very loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend to so many who will never forget her. Shala departed this life on Sunday, May 23, 2021, in Russellville, Arkansas under the watchful eye our Lord. She was preceded in death by her sister Taneka Bell, her grandfathers' James Bell and Albert Boyce, her uncle Steve Bell and her aunt Genova Boyce-Miller. She leaves to cherish her memory her estranged husband, Quinten Sanders, Sr.; her adorable beloved children, Quinten Sanders, Jr., Katelynn Sanders, Brenden Sanders, and Jordan Sanders; her mother Shellie Franklin (MacArthur) of Helena, AR; her father Willie Mitchell of West Helena, AR; her grandmother Vercie Boyce of Russellville, AR; her brothers, Aubrey Bell (Nicole) of Helena, AR; Keriocus Taper (Dorlisa) of Russellville, AR and Larry Brown of Russellville, AR; She leaves her favorite aunt Kafreda Boyce-Jackson (Jeffrey) of Russellville, AR; Sheila Mitchell of Los Angeles, CA; Mary Bell and Ruby Turner both of Kankakee, IL; She leaves her uncles Alvin Boyce of Russellville, AR; James Bell and Larry Bell both of Minneapolis, MN; Tommy Boyce, Sr., (Lenetta) of Russellville, AR; Rufus Boyce of Lithonia, GA; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who loved her dearly. Family and friends due to COVID-19 we are asking that you allow enough time for our staff to check fevers and give out the hand sanitizer. To protect the family and friends of Mrs. Shala Bell Sanders we are asking if you have had a cough or cold that you stay home. Anyone who enters the facility must have a face covering.
